Creator’s Constant Care, Concern, Comfort, 24/7!

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry – Psalm 34:15

God is our Creator. He created us to worship Him and adore Him and glorify Him. God loved all that He created and He cares for all of His creation. In today’s world, with high resolution imaging devices every tiny object can be seen from the satellites. Scientists use these satellite images to predict weather, help with agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and use these satellite imageries for intelligence and warfare purposes. When man-made satellite imaging systems can do wonders, God who created the heavens and earth no wonder can see everything on earth. We read in Hebrews 4:13: “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him.” The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good (Proverbs 15:3). Many times we think no one is looking in to my problems and none listening to my plea. But our Lord is watching over you and your problems. He will intervene in the right time and will fulfill the desires of your heart. Many times we think no one is around that I can live the way I wanted, but remember even under those circumstances our Lord’s eyes are seeing you. We read in Psalm 11:4: “Our Lord observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them.” If we do the right thing He will not only see us but will hear us and attend to our needs. In the above verse from Psalm 34:15, the eyes of the Lord are on the one who do the right thing and his ears pays attention to their cry.” He eyes not only sees, and his ears not only hear; but He attends to the needs of those who cry out to Him. We read the story of Hagar, a servant of Sarai and Abram in Genesis 16. Sarai, out of fear that she will not have children, asked her servant maid Hagar to give birth to a child through Abram. Hagar obeyed her authority and now became pregnant. Now because of jealousy, Sarai started mistreating as a result Hagar ran away from her home in to wilderness. She did right before the eyes of her authority and now persecuted and with her pregnancy in suffering, pain and hurt wandering with out help around. When none around, God intervenes to the broken hearted and disserted women, Hagar. Lord first quenches her thirst by providing her spring of water. God’s has been constantly watches her struggles, came for rescue, cared for her by providing for her, and comforted her and blessed her. Lord, counseled her in wilderness and told her to examine her life and asked her to go back to her home and submit to her authority. Above all, He promised her that He will bless her with more descendants through her child of the womb, Ishmael. Our Lord indeed kept His promised and blessed her. We read in Genesis 16 verses 13 and 14, “Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord, who had spoken to her. She said, “You are the God who sees me.” She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?” So that well was named Beer-lahai-roi (which means “well of the Living One who sees me”). It can still be found between Kadesh and Bered.” Our Lord another name is “God who sees you.” When you are doing the right thing before the eyes of our Lord, no matter people around you accept that or not, He will not forsake you. He will be with those who do the right thing and will continue to pour out His blessing on those who diligently pursue the right things.

Are you crushed from all sides and distressed for doing the right thing? Do you look around and say “none understands me?” Are you in a situation that the decision you made though you prayed turning against you? Are you blamed for doing the right thing? Cry out to God who sees you. His eyes are watching you. If you think, there is none to attend your problem, our Lord will not only see and hear you, but will attend to your needs. He will provide for you. He is Jehovah-Jireh! He knows that you are looking for a break in life. He knows your heart that is broken into pieces and you are trying to fix those with your human efforts. He alone can heal the broken hearts. Hagar was broken- hearted when our Lord provided her spring of water in the wilderness. Our Lord will first provide your needs before even talk to you because he knows that you ate in that desperate situation. If people are against you and crushing you, look to God of refuge, He will provide you security and relieve you from all dangerous situations. Even though it may seem things are delaying for you always remember His eyes are watching over you.

During the times, Napoleon's army challenging the world, the citizens of Feldkirch, Austria, didn't know what to do. Napoleon's massive army was preparing to attack. Soldiers had been spotted on the heights above the little town, which was situated on the Austrian border. A council of citizens was hastily summoned to decide whether they should try to defend themselves or display the white flag of surrender. It happened to be Easter Sunday, and the people had gathered in the local church. The pastor rose and said, "Friends, we have been counting on our own strength, and apparently that has failed. As this is the day of our Lord's resurrection, let us just ring the bells, have our services as usual, and leave the matter in His hands. We know only our weakness, and not the power of God to defend us." The council accepted his plan and the church bells rang. The enemy, hearing the sudden peal, concluded that the Austrian army had arrived during the night to defend the town. Before the service ended, the enemy broke camp and left.

Commit yourself to the Creator who will provide you with Constant Care, Concern, and Comfort, 24/7!

Prayer: Father…I know your eyes watching over my life, remove the disbelief in my and help me to see to the One who sees me all the time. In Jesus Name…Amen!
